20 MAY 2024: These Year 12 students from The Southport School were absorbed by their visit to our Cannon Hill processing plant this morning. The 21 visitors had plenty of questions for our workplace training officer Tony Kickert, who led the group on a plant tour.
The ACC team also explained career pathways into the booming meat industry, highlighting the growth prospects in robotics, data analysis and technology.
The students, led by their agricultural science teacher Rachel Wilson, will also be paying a visit to ACC’s Brisbane Valley feedlot to gain a wider understanding of the company’s complete supply chain.
