4 JULY 2023: We celebrate the achievements of our QA queen Naajihah Mahmood, recently recognised by the University of Queensland as a rising food entrepreneur.
Naaji is our food safety auditor and, in her spare time, she’s using her degree-specific knowledge and work experience to create HalalBee – a solution to help the Muslim community more easily find nearby halal food options.
She was selected for a UQ accelerator program and was placed second in the pitch night after presenting her start-up to an audience of more than 350 people.
