18 JULY 2024: Yesterday we hosted a gathering of the state ag ministers, along with Federal Agriculture Minister Murray Watt – Senator for Queensland who later said: “People got to see one of Australia’s leading meat-processing facilities in action, and I think I joined with everyone in saying we were pretty impressed by the technology and the work ethic that we see on display there.”
We were proud to show our Cannon Hill plant to the Ministers of Agriculture from WA (the Hon Jackie Jarvis MLC), Tasmania (the Hon Jane Howlett), Queensland (the Hon Mark Furner MP for Ferny Grove), NSW (the Hon Tara Moriarty MLC) and ACT (the Hon Rebecca Vassarotti MLA) and the Victorian Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture (Michaela Settle MP), along with their staffers.
