14 FEBRUARY 2024: Our latest investment in sustainability, a new 40,000 litre tallow tank arrived today and our Cannon Hill maintenance team hit their straps to get it installed by lunch-time.
Tallow, the base for bio-ethanol, is in increasing demand as a renewable fuel … in fact, Australia is the world’s largest exporter of the natural oil.
ACC’s clever use of rendered tallow overcomes the risk of sending it to landfill and helps fulfil our commitment to the environment.
The Australian-made tank, delivered from Clontarf in northern Brisbane, was welcomed by Mark Larmar, (below) one of our maintenance team fitting the new tank into place.
