27 MARCH 2024: We were proud to support the charitable work of Rural Aid with a lunch in Brisbane last Friday that raised more than $250,000.
The annual ‘Our Mates in the Bush’ event was attended by agribusiness leaders supporting the work of the national farm charity.
Rural Aid’s CEO John Warlters said: “The work that Rural Aid does simply would not be possible if it wasn’t for the generosity of supporters such as ACC. The Rural Aid team and I thank you for your continuing support.”
Guests at our table included Queensland’s Minster for Agriculture, the Hon Mark Furner (pictured) and DAF’s Acting Deputy Director-General of Agriculture, Elton Miller. The state government made a considerable donation for the event, which was also supported by Rossi boots and APT travel.
